About Me

I turned Professional in 1995 and in the 1999/2000 intake I achieved the prestigious status of being in the ‘Top 10’ Trainees of the Year in Great Britain and Ireland and was awarded a Titleist and Footjoy Scholarship.

I've been at Pyrford Golf Club in picturesque Surrey as Head Golf Professional since 2004. Prior to Pyrford I coached at Surrey Golf and Fitness and was full time coach at Merrist Wood Golf Club coaching the HND Golf Study Students with handicaps ranging from plus 4 to 9.

Since then, I have worked with and studied the teachings of some of the best coaches in the world through the PGA at training courses and seminars and my own experiences.

I have a very holistic approach to coaching students as everyone is so unique and requires different attention. We are all different shapes and sizes and have different strengths and flexibility limitations which is why I don't coach a particular ‘method’. I work with the individual and his or her needs.

My ability to diagnose the fault and then simplify that to the student is my goal so the student knows exactly what to work on and going forward, in essence, owns their game.

I like to build a learning environment where you gain pure knowledge of your golf game, so you have a clear pathway of where you want to be. Owning ‘YOUR’ swing and game is key.
